Self-Guided Headwaters Park Trail | Self-Guided Cannonball Run Trail | Guided Rivergreenway Trail

Self-Guided Headwaters Park Trail: This 2.5- to 3-mile marked riding trail traverses through both sides of scenic Headwaters Park, which features fragrant floral displays, an interactive childrens fountain, flowering and shade trees, an up-close view of the St. Mary’s river. This natural beauty, which is home to families of bunnies, ducks and geese, is a stark contrast to the contemporary urban backdrop of the city’s skyline. Ride lasts approximately 20 to 30 minutes, depending on individual pedaling speed.

Self-Guided Cannonball Run Trail: This 1.5- to 2-mile marked riding trail takes riders back in time to the late 1800’s - early 1900’s, as its set against a replica of Historic Fort Wayne. Riders will enjoy traversing alongside the St. Mary’s River to pass between a set of artistic and colorful cityscape murals and a grove of maturing trees bearing kekionga (mulberries) before crossing an old-fashioned wooden boardwalk. Ride lasts approximately 10 to 15 minutes, depending on individual pedaling speed.

Guided Rivergreenway Trail: This is the only trail that has guided tours currently offered by Model T. This trail will vary depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to time of day, weather conditions and trail conditions. Two tours will be offered, one during the day and another at sunset. Ride time varies, depending on participants.
