The following rules have been developed for the safety of our guests and riders who have the opportunity to rent equipment for use on pathways or trails outside of the Headwaters Park complex. These rules and used to thwart theft and to prevent damage to Model T’s equipment. Thank you for following these rules:
All guests must register prior to renting any equipment from Model T Bicycle Rentals for the first time. Once guests are registered, they do not need to re-register. All guest who register must be at least age 18 .
Each registered guest (and their companions) are required to wear a safety helmet when renting and/or riding any equipment that have 3 wheels or less. Registered quests who rent a Horseless Carriage are not required to wear a safety helmet. All children, ages 5 and under, are required to wear safety helmets regardless of that they ride.
Each registered guest must give a deposit to Model T prior to renting any equipment. For security purposes, guest renting equipment for use outside of Headwaters Park will be required to provive a valid credit card for a $200 monetary deposit and a non-monetary deposit, such as a valid driver’s license or car keys. Monetary deposits will be credited when equipment is returned to Model T within the rented time period. In the event that equipment is returned late, Model T reserves the right to debit $50 for each 15 minute period in which rented equipment is not returned. Model T will consider equipment stolen if it is not returned within one hour from the time rented equipment should have been returned. Non-monetary deposits will be returned when equipment is returned.
