Riders crossing Clinton Street must use the pedestrian crosswalk and signal oncoming traffic to stop.
Riders approaching other riders , pedestrians or others from behind must ring bells/honk horn to signal their approach.
Riding crossing under the Clinton Street Bridge must ring bells/honk horn to signal others of their intent to cross under the Bridge.
Registered guests are responsible for their conduct (and the conduct of their companions). For the safety reasons, registered guests (and their companions) are asked to refrain from eating, drinking, smoking, chewing gum or chewing tobacco during your ride.
Horseless Carriage riders must not pass other Horseless Carriages. The trail designated for Horseless Carriages is not wide enough. Registered guests will be held responsible for any damages to the Horseless Carriage.
Registered guests (and their companions) are expected to ride rental equipment in a safe manner and must not engage in reckless behavior, including but not limited to: speeding, standing instead of sitting while riding, “jumping” (such as jumping curbs, rails, stairs, etc), not keeping hands on steering wheel/handle bars, steering with knees or body parts other than hands, crashing into other riders, picking up stray passengers and letting them “ride” on the handlebars, riding on a non-designated surface (such as railings, stairs, grass, flower beds, through fountains, etc) on or near a designated path, deviating from a designated pathway, etc. Please use common sense.
